Our reason for meeting is simple: we want to grow our businesses.

 

We accomplish this through referrals of each others' businesses to the people in our own networks of acquaintances, colleagues, clients, etc.  We also do business with each other, share best practices, and learn more about other businesses.

BRX groups have one membership slot for specific business disciplines, for instance only one accountant, one banker. etc. per group, and therefore no competition amongst members for business.  We socialise and network informally on arrival.  We then sit down for breakfast, continuing to conduct informal business.  The formal structure begins with a 60 second presentation by each attendee (members and guests) about what their business is about and requesting the type of referral they'd like to receive from others.  Then there is a 10 minute spotlight on one member's business, which can take any form that member would like!  Finally there is the referrals section, during which the members provide business contact information to each other.  Many of our members have realised significant business growth from the process, paying for their membership many times over.  Add to that the business skills learned from each other and the great social atmosphere, and you have a recipe for success (mixed with a good time)!

 

Groups are administered at a local level by an elected committee on a 6 monthly cycle.  The current committee at Gerrards Cross is:
